About This Property

Meander Shoreline Highway One 17 miles past the glittering jewels of Ft. Bragg's Glass Beach and you will come across the quiet solitude of unassuming Westport. A few quaint century-old buildings come together where Wages Creek meets the ocean. Here you will find beach-side camping in the sand, on grassy sites and along the creek.

You can wander along the long stretches of private, sandy beach or take advantage of seasonal fishing and abalone diving. Wade, surf, boogie board or play frisbee.

It's a birdwatcher's paradise where wildlife abounds. Walk for miles at low tide past beautiful rock formations while waves wash the beach. Unwind with a good book and enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. Another feature of this 50 acre park is a year-round creek graced with many willows, pines and redwoods. Kids love to ride bikes around the park, or explore the creek.

Turn your RV into your own beachfront home in one of these roomy Northern California campsites. Both RV and tent sites are also available in our park area, which is sheltered from the wind by large willow and pine trees. We allow a limited number of tent sites on the beach where you can thrill to the sound of crashing waves all night.

"crowded and tight"

Not the same as it used to be. Sites are crowded. Trailers were No more than ten feet apart. Manager mentioned the County Health Dept. told them they had to reduce the occupancy from 100% down to 75% or they would get shut down!!! Crowd so big they had porta potties stationed everywhere. Place appeared to be rundown.

"Last minute"

Accommodations were made at last minute. Very friendly. Had a nice bonfire built by the staff on the nearby beach.
