WiFiSt. Augustine, established in 1565, stands as America’s oldest continuously inhabited European settlement, radiating timeless allure through its Spanish Colonial architecture and captivating stories.
The oldest masonry fort in the continental U.S., built between 1672 and 1695 from distinctive coquina stone. Perched along Matanzas Bay, it’s an enduring symbol of the city's rich legacy and a must-see historic site.
Climb to the top of this iconic red-and-white beacon (165 feet above sea level), featuring a stunning original Fresnel lens and sweeping views of the coast.
Dive into an immersive world with over 800 authentic pirate artifacts, including Blackbeard’s blunderbuss and Thomas Tew’s bona fide treasure chest. Interactive experiences like electronically fired cannons and audio shows bring pirate lore vividly to life.
St. George Street, a pedestrian-friendly corridor lined with boutiques, galleries, and bistros, invites leisurely exploration.
Gems like Flagler College and the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine (circa 1797) adds to the city’s enchanting elegance.
Just across Matanzas Bay, Anastasia State Park offers sandy beaches, marshland walks, kayaking, birdwatching—and even the original coquina quarries used for Castillo de San Marcos.
From mid-November through January, downtown glows under three million holiday lights, transforming the city into a festive wonderland—free to enjoy.
