Nice clean campground. Military and Good Sam discount available. Full Hook Ups is always welcomed and a plus!! We had Campsite #47. There are full time residents within this campground. They have a pool and hot tub. The setup of this campground is different from any we?ve stayed at. It looked like the owners may live on the property as well and the pool is attached to their home. Pool rules and hours are posted. They have laundry, two shower houses and two outdoor dog washes. We did not use or even go into the shower houses. They have a couple Of ponds, at least one fishing pond, beautiful blooming perennials and maintain the grounds. Garbage was picked up at drive daily or could be placed in available dumpsters. Reasoning for not a 5-star rating is improvement needed in communicating to travelers during severe weather. It?s spring and Milledgeville is in oath of severe weather. In fact, there was a ?Storm Shelter? directly in back of our campsite. We were awakened by our phones Emergency Alert system at 3:30am with a Tornado Warning (when much of the South and Ohio Valley were getting hammered with violent weather). I heard vehicles going by our campsite but no one came to tell us the Storm Shelter was available or even open. Although we were already hooked up to camper so to leave in the morning, we dressed, and were ready to exit to our truck hoping it was safer than the camper. We would return again. However if you have a shelter with signage and it?s available then people should be made aware of where to go if needed.

We loved this campground! There are several full-time sites, but their sites are neat and well kept (there were a couple that could have been cleaner, but they're in the section closer to the pool and even hall) The whole campground is well maintained and clean. Super friendly and helpful staff. We had a pull through site (38) that overlooked the lawn/meadow. The whole campground is quiet, we were able to relax and we felt safe and comfortable our whole 8 night stay. We have a 46ft 5th wheel. Spacious sites, some are a bit closer though. There are plenty of trash receptacles and they will come by every day to pick up your trash if you do not want to walk a few feet to the trash cans. We had 5G Verizon cell service. The campground has wifi but we couldn't connect and stay connected, it's not very strong even with full bars. We didn't use the restrooms or showers, they're individual showers and toilets so you have privacy. I did poke my nose in to check them out, they are cleaned regularly and it's noticeable. We will definitely be back to this place! We camped at Scenic Mountain RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Picturesque RV campground. Note for future! If you are in a Class A Motorhome, DO NOT stay in Site 34, you cannot get your coach level. My advice to the owners, don't allow the big fella in that site. It's TOO TIGHT and the leveling issue. Site 6 is really nice. This is a quiet and clean campground. Also folks are very friendly and helpful
