Savannah South KOA

Oh, Savannah! Who hasnt heard about this gracious Southern belle of a city, filled with history and made even more famous by novelists? Set up camp at the Savannah South KOA, then set out to explore Savannahs charming historic district. Ride in a horse-drawn carriage or pick up a walking tour brochure so you can marvel at the more than 1,400 restored buildings. Tybee, Jekyll and Hilton Head islands are all nearby with gorgeous sands, championship golf, deep-sea fishing and other opportunities for fun.

Then return after a busy day of sightseeing to the quiet serenity of Savannah South KOA. Don't miss Mother Nature's show each night starting at dusk with the ibis, blue herons and egrets gathering on the island trees of our 35 acre lake! We have lots of spacious, easy in and out pull thrus, beautiful, shady back-in spaces on the lakefront, along with rustic one or two room cabins and a lodge situated near our lake, (please, no pets or smoking in cabins or lodge). We also offer a coin operated RV wash on-site and a sparking swimming pool too! Bring your poles and tackle because the fish are always biting and no license is required to fish in our lake. There is nothing more relaxing and beautiful than watching our hand raised swans and wide variety of waterfowl. We also have rental boats for your enjoyment.

Check in time is 1 p.m. for RV sites and 3 p.m. for cabins. Check out is noon for all sites. Come enjoy everything that Savannah has to offer!
