"Stay at the Marina - Walk to the Beach"

The "facility" is just a few parking spots with hook ups, at the end of the Marina. You have room to park a car and put out your awning, but not much more. There is some shade and a nice view of the boats in the marina. But it has its upside - I gave it 3 stars for the location and convenience to the beach and restaurants at the marina. The location is probably worth more stars. You can walk to the Crowsnest on the beach (and other restaurants) for dinner which has fantastic views and great food at really amazing prices. The service is just ok but you can get a $50 dinner for $20. The guy who takes your rez and "greets" you should not be in a job dealing with the public. He will ignore you until he is ready, he will not take your money until he has you parked to his satisfaction and puts his little cone in front of your rig. Well, he's not friendly, but he get's it done and that's just your first hour - so you can recover. The marina is nice and lighted at night and has lots of places to walk your dog. It's no RV resort but a great place to park to walk and bike Santa Cruz. We ended up extending a day at $52 a night. Make a rez - it was full in November.
