Centrally located in the mountain area of North Carolina, we are 15 miles south of Asheville and 10 miles north of Hendersonville. Rutledge Lake offers your best Asheville camping location providing easy access to all area attractions and cultural events as well as a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy your vacation.

We are “big rig” RV and fifth-wheel friendly. Have a furry (or feathered) friend who travels with you? We would love to meet them too! There are a variety of campsites to choose from including lake front, pull thru and standard sites.

Our campground amenities include free wireless internet (WiFi), playground, full size pool, camp store, boat rentals, cabins, cable TV, full hook-ups, 30/50 amp service, and spotless laundry facilities and bathhouse.

There is a large recreation room complete with pool table, table tennis, big screen TV and a cozy fireplace. Our lake is perfect for fishing or just relaxing and feeding the ducks and our creek side serenity trail is made for strolling and enjoying the beautiful birds of our park.
