There's no shortage of ways to spend your days when camping at Montrose/Black Canyon KOA. You're only 15 minutes from Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Explore the area's countless recreational opportunities such as hiking, fishing, golf, river rafting, jeeping, mountain biking, rock climbing and skiing. Enjoy the area's dramatic mountain scenery including several "fourteeners" (14,000-foot peaks). Then return to the comfort of this quiet campground with 23 roomy acres just a few blocks from downtown Montrose. You'll appreciate the extra-roomy, grassy, shaded pull thru sites, playground, pavilion, swimming pool and hot tub (seasonal). This KOA also offers year-round monthly sites with metered propane. Walk to Main Street in Motion every Thursday night (music, vendors, food and spirits seasonally).
