The JGW RV Park welcomes you to enjoy its 32-acre facility nestled among the native black oak trees. The park has a grassy, natural setting for viewing birds and wildlife or for strolling along the Sacramento riverbank. You can also go fishing for steelhead, trout, and salmon or just enjoy a BBQ and a friendly game of horseshoes.

If you would like to experience part of the north state, the park is a great spot to relax. Within an hour’s drive from Redding are lakes, caverns, waterfalls, museums, gold rush ruins, state and national parks for you to enjoy.

Redding is the major transportation artery for northern California. What better place to spend a night or two before continuing on your journey.

"peaceful with a great view"

we are traveling with my mother who is wheelchair bound to Washington state. unfortunately, she cannot get out of the RV unless we are at home because it does not have a wheelchair lift. when we arrive at campgrounds, we close all the curtains to maintain the temperature inside and allow her privacy for her care. but, when we got here, we pulled right into a spot that overlooked the river and left the windows open for her. it is too hot in the RV but she is thrilled to be able to see something lovely and watch the animals and even fishermen on the river, totally worth managing the heat. spot ' if it matters, but there are many more. I wish this app would allow photos. PS: I also had a nice walk along the river while she rested. I gave 4 stars because I didn't use any of the amenities, so I can't speak to that.
