Dec 30 , 2020"Good overnight stop for us"
Shepherdsville, Kentucky Grandma's RV Camping www.grandmasrvcamping.net Grandma's RV Campground is a 60 site campground 20 miles south of Louisville KY on Interstate 65. Most of the sites are seasonal or workers in the area, but they do have a few for overnight camping. We stayed here 1 night on our trip from WI to FL. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the campground was clean. Due to COVID, masks required in all buildings. Sites are narrow, gravel, level and FHU. No fire pits or picnic table. We had site 12, easy pull through site. Campground is just off the interstate so lots of highway noise. We did not use the restrooms or showers, but they are numbered coded for access. Laundry is also available. WIFI is available, we have T-Moble and it was adequate for what we needed. We were able to pull in a few local TV stations, (ABC, NBC, FOX, etc.) We did see a dog walk area. This is a good campground to stop for one night while traveling or if your in the area for the Bourbon Trail/Winery Trail. We stayed at Grandma's in a 33' fifth wheel, December 2020. $35.00/night, W/E/S.
