The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds plays host to several popular annual events including the Georgia Mountain Fair, the Superstar Concert Series, the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival and Georgia's Official State Fiddlers' Convention.

Area 1 sites were a little outdated and small. Nice lake views. Easy check in and great office staff.

Campground office personnel were very friendly and helpful. Campground is clean and maintained. Sites are old and although paved, the asphalt is cracking. No laundry facility.
