"One week stay"

We stayed for a week at Ft Wilderness and really liked the campground, very clean and quiet. We had a couple of issues with our travel trailer and Cindy had Ed come to the rescue in a short amount of time. The campground is very close to the Smokey Mountain National Park and its many wonders. Will stay here again.

"wear your spikes"

the pads are level just step off the pad and you are rolling down hill into the next . all it would need is sone gravel and a few logs or blocks .

"Month long stay"

Clean and quiet although older campground. We rented a spot for the entire month as we live only a couple of hours away. We came up each weekend. Just 10 minutes to Cherokee, NC where we found so many fun things to do. We enjoyed seeing the elk, going on hikes, seeing waterfalls, playing putt-putt, going to the Indian Museum, the Indian Village, and "Unto These Hills". This campground was in a perfect location for us. The campground is older, but we read under new ownership. They seemed to be updating different things the entire time we were there. The campground was quiet. We did not use the pool, but it looked very clean and seemed to be a favorite. Playground had a couple of rotten boards and needs to be repaired rather than just the new paint job that was being done. With full hookups, we never even used either of the bath houses. Overall, we would recommend this campground.
