"Real Florida"

We love this little "Old Florida Campground." If your looking for a fancy rv resort, this is not it. It's quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The sites can be a little tight, but are still nice and lots of trees. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The bathrooms are very clean and air conditioned. The boat ramp is just down the street for boating or kayaking. Unfortunately the WiFi isn't very good, so plan accordingly.

"Terrible customer service!!!!"

We spent 2 nights here 11/18/24-11/20/24 at site #44 and this was our 3rd trip to the campgrounds. We are local to the Tampa area and this is a quick 1 hour drive to get away from the hustle of city life. The customer service of the camp host who lives onsite is HORRENDOUS. We were instructed at the check in trailer to knock on the house door and ask for a screwdriver since the maintenance technician had already gone home for the day; the water hook-up at our site needed repair. The lady answered the door as a tyrant screaming and directing me away from her door, and needless to say did not offer help with the repair. I let it go. The following evening another camper arrived after dark and was having trouble finding her site. This same woman came down the road yelling ?You are blocking the road! You are blocking the road!? She did not offer to help and continued her angry rant. Terrible customer service; imagine if you really needed help after hours and this is your point of contact on site. She needs replaced or therapy!! We will not be back.

"Nice campground"

This is a very nice little campground. All shaded, the boat launch and kayak rental is nice. Wifi didn't work very well but we have our own. We consider it a luxury since you are camping. When you book and it states tight space, experienced in backing in, is a fact! Don't forget your bug spray!!!
