Visiting Family in the Northwest

Made it to Spokane, Washington, where my two sisters live, by July 2nd.

My sister, Deena and I drove to Moscow, Idaho to our nephew's house on a small ranch.

We were able to hook up the RV and stay in it while we had a wonderful Independence Day weekend celebration with lots of family members, some of whom I had never met (great nieces and nephews) and the rest I hadn't seen for 9 years, including my brother, his wife and kids.

Siblings: Left to Right: Linds, Deena, Greg, and me (also in age order, me being the youngest of course) ;)

The next week I spent in my sister, Deena's driveway. We did lots of shopping, sewing (well she did for me J), and fixed a few cosmetic things in the RV. We had lots of fun.

The next week I spent at my brother's house on his 10 acres is Northern Idaho, above Coeur d'Alene. I was also able to hook up there and enjoy being in nature surrounded by lots of trees. We also had fun spending one day at Silverwood Amusement Park where my brother works near his home. My sister in law and I did "girlie things" such as mani/pedis, shopping, quilt group, and lunch out.

The next week I spent at my oldest sister, Linda's house. I was also able to hook up in front of her house on the circular driveway of her 1909 Victorian home. She, her husband (a retired eye surgeon) and I had a great time going to garden parties at the expensive houses near her, the Art Museum, and dinner parties with their friends.

Knife Throwing: When my nephew, Adam, asked if I wanted to go throw knifes, I started to say no, which is what he expected. Then I thought, why not; I'm out here to have new experiences!

Train Car- My Sister, Linda and her husband, Larry both pictured in their personal train car. Yep! They own one of only 100 train cars owned by individuals in the United States.

Then, before leaving Spokane, I spent one more week with my sister, Deena.

As you can see, my 3 siblings live very different lives which allowed me to experience and enjoy a variety of enjoyable and fun things around the area in which they live within one hour of each other. And it had been 9 years since the 4 of us had been in the same place at the same time.
