Author: Blog Editor in The Wandering Jews

We started traveling the highways and byways in 2009 and have had many fun adventures since. Contrary to the belief that Jews Don’t Camp (be sure to watch the video – written and performed by Dave Buskin), we have camped in everything from a tent to a Class C motorcoach from Florida to Alaska. We’ve even camped in Hawaii. In later blogs we will share with you our travels during this year.

True to the video, Sheila and I tend to eat out a lot. I guess that’s why I am a little overweight. Too many buffets. We will tell you about some great places to eat and places to park your rig. We will also give you some insights on local history, places to see and some things to do as we travel.
For the last 5 years, we have “traveled for a living”. We are Sales Associates for Southeast Publications. By the way, you too can travel for a living. To find out more, just go to Southeast Publications and follow the “careers” link to information on how to become a Sales Associate.
We are about to hit the road, so you will be hearing from us soon!

About the Bloggers: Sheila and Bob Jaffe retired in 2008 from a printing business that they owned in Boca Raton, FL. In 2009 we started RVing. We had never towed anything, but we were undaunted and set out on our first trip, which lasted 4-1/2 months. We left from our home in sunny south Florida to visit one of our daughters in San Francisco, CA. Along the way, we stayed in 41 different RV parks, we learned a lot about RVing, and we visited 18 National Parks and discovered that we really liked RVing. We found that for us “home is where you park it”.
