The Pacific Northwest 2

I find myself writing once again about the Pacific Northwest, especially now since we have moved to a new location of 110 degrees days, so it helps me to cool down, UGH!
Trees, and more Trees, Pines mostly, but all the beautiful White Birch, and perennials are a sight to see, I do not claim to know all their names, and there is a lot, but I know what I like and to see, and in the far Pacific Northwest corner you will be in tree country. I am talking about the coastlines, and the Islands of northern Washington.
What a diverse country. One minute you will be at a Harbor full of the pleasure seekers, and the hard workers, fishing, site seeing, and all the water lovers, and the next minute you’ll be amongst the pines hiking a trail, or bird watching. Then just minutes away you can also find all the stores you will ever need!
The Park I want to talk about now is one that we have re-visited 4 times now, Burlington KOA. The first year we visited with a family that had owned the Park for over 30 years, and the next 3 subsequent trips we met and got to know the new family, new to our country, and new to RV Park ownership, but very much wanting to do the right thing, and please everyone!
Burlington KOA is a must stop, right in the middle of several little farms, our little puppy got to meet his first heard of cows next door, I don’t know which one was more in awe! Now we find out they will be adding over 50 new large sites to their Park, which they are very excited about, and want to accommodate all the new bigger rigs! They are being very careful not to cut down any trees that they don’t have to, so it is a process for the engineers designing it, and the new owners. So if you get a chance, go in and say HI to Howard & Sunny, as well as their wonderful staff.
