RV Tires: Selection, Care, Troubleshooting and Use
Every RV has its own set of characteristics that make it unique and special to its owners. The interior décor, floor plan, furniture, all make up the home-away-from-home experience that RVers love. While their uniqueness sets them apart from other RVs, the one thing that all RVs have in common is the rubber that connects them to the road. In other words… their tires!

They are the only thing between your RV and the road, so it is important that every RVer understand how to take care of and maintain the tires on their RV. The last thing you want on your road trip is to deal with a tire issue that could have been avoided.

Trailer tires for instance, are especially prone to problems that could potentially interrupt your RV trip, if they’re neglected. They are an afterthought behind your truck and they are not exactly top of mind for many RV owners. This casual attitude towards tires is often reflected in flats, trailer body damage and unwelcomed delays in vacations.

To help you educate yourself on the ins and outs of RV tires, we invite you to read the complete article by Jeff Johnston, on RVHandbook.com. As a writer and editor, Johnston has spent the majority of the past 25 years working exclusively with major RV publications. Today, he is also an associate producer and host on the TV show, Rollin’ on TV.
