RV Rallies-Join the Fun and Learn a Few Things
RV rallies are very popular with RV manufacturers, dealers, and owners. These gatherings give groups of RVers the chance to get together with other RVers and those people who are in the RV industry to discuss their coaches and common issues. It is a great time to be social, learn new things, and sometimes win free gifts or gift cards. These events are put on by manufacturers, dealers, and also even some repair shops. If you are new to RVing, it is a great way to get your feet wet and those veterans can learn a lot about all the new RV advancements.

RV Manufacturer Rallies
When manufacturers host rallies, they can be quite large and have a sizeable number of guests. These rallies are great because you can see all the latest coaches for that manufacturer. New RV models are exciting to look at and even if you are not in the market for a new RV you can get a few upgrade ideas. Manufacturers also have many vendors on site. We all know what that means…FREE STUFF! Ok, other than free stuff, there is a ton of knowledge to be gathered from many different vendors regarding many different products and then of course there is the…FREE STUFF!

Dealer Rallies
Dealer rallies are a little more intimate than the manufacturer rallies; however there are typically many different manufactures represented. Most dealers sell more than one brand of coach and not only allow you to walk through each vehicle, but also offer test drives as well. Vendor displays are also typically set up and sales people are there to answer any questions that may arise. There is also…FREE STUFF! Typically, food and prizes are given out and there are plenty of specials on RV pricing. It is a fun event for the entire family and can be very helpful when you are thinking about purchasing a new or used RV or trailer.

Service Center Rallies
Unfortunately, rallies hosted by service centers are not as common as one might think. I work for a large service center in the San Francisco Bay Area and we try to host several rallies a year. Usually, these rallies consist of RV clubs and associations that have an interest in finding a new reliable shop in their area. There is always a presentation and a question and answer period with our technicians. That is usually the favorite part for most of our attendees. I, of course, love the barbeques that we prepare and giving away the…FREE STUFF! That’s right; even we have a raffle with enough prizes for everyone.

As the camping season starts to get underway, check around your area for rallies or plan one yourself. They always prove to be very social, extremely educational, and a whole lot of fun. The things you can learn spending time with people who are in the industry can be very enlightening. The amount of support and friendship you will discover when you meet other RVers in RV community is priceless. Oh and don’t forget…FREE STUFF!
