Last Day Before Alaska

Last day before we head to Alaska so we are at the Rocky Mountain Cummins shop to have our oil changed, generator serviced, and the Allison transmission 75k service completed. It has been a very long day as they only had one tech and he is on slow mode. They told us when we scheduled that we should be done by 2pm. It is now 4:30 and we are getting ready to pull out. We are so ready to hit the road and get going, it has been like waiting for Christmas as Alaska is calling our name.
Update: We pulled out of the shop and headed down the road. Didn't make it to the first stop sign before we realized we had a major problem since our unit would not shift out of first gear. We found a turn around and limped back to the shop where we caught the service manager packing up to head home for the weekend. He came out to take a look and realized that his mechanic had not added enough transmission fluid. Several gallons later we tried again only to have to come back.
By 6:30 he had used all of the fluid in his shop so we crossed our fingers that it was enough and started down the road. This time we were shifting so hopefully we are good to go. So much for peace of mind!
Since we got such a late start we are not going to make Great Falls, MT as hoped. Shooting for Billings as they have a Cabella's which is always a great place to boondock when traveling late.
