Nearby is the small town of San Juan Bautista. It’s full of History, & it’s home to one of the California Missions; of the same name. The chickens run wild in this little town, and there are several small shops, bakeries, restaurants/cafes, & Antique stores.
Gilroy is within an hours drive to the coastal Cities of Monterey & Santa Cruz, and it’s just south of San Jose. So, you see you will not be without a lot of choices to see & do, or drive to.
