Full Time RVING – From Gremlin the Wonder Dog’s Perspective
Hello everyone, my name is Gremlin and I’m an eight year old pug. Dad and mom are busy this week so they asked me to write this blog thing for them. This is my first attempt at this so please be kind.

I’m the oldest of the 3 of us pugs and absolutely the queen of the house, (next to mom that is). Being a pug living on the road full time is pretty exciting I think. I have always enjoyed riding in a car. Before we went on the road, whenever dad use to go anywhere I would go to the door and let dad know I wanted to go with him, if he acted like he was not going to take me I’d pout till he took me. So when we started traveling all the time I could not ask for a better life.

I can always tell when it’s travel day as soon as I see mom put the TV up I know we are going to head up the road. I jump up on the dash and wait till dad takes his place at the wheel. I love sitting on the dash and being the live bobble head as we go down the road. I can watch the world go by and see everything that is going on around me while we travel.

What I find most exciting about traveling with mom and dad is that every couple of weeks we are in a new place. Not only do I get to do what I love best, travel I get new sights and smells. Like this week we traveled I think from what dad said from Astor, Florida to White Springs Florida the campground is called Suwannee Valley Resort and it’s right on a big river and it’s really awesome!

Everyone here is very friendly and that is another benefit to being a road pug, I really love people and most of the time they think I’m very cute, so I get lots of attention and when they don’t pay attention to me I just strike a pose or I’ll stand in the middle of everyone and chase my tail and bark, they all laugh and I get lots of attention after that. I like chasing my tail when I get excited in fact you should see me chase it when I watch football with dad and mom!

Being a dog and traveling is also fun because I get to make new friends at each campground. Mom and Dad will only go to pet friendly campgrounds so there are always lots of other dogs and Cats too, I think I’m not supposed to like cats but I do anyways. Sometimes there are little furry guys that look sort of like rats, I keep trying to make friends with them but they just run up the tree and chirp at me, oh well it’s their loss because I’d be fun to play with.

I think what I like most about traveling is all the time I get to spend with mom and dad now. Dad use to be gone a lot and I’d only get to sit in his lap at night, but now he is around lots more. He leaves for short times during the day and I usually can’t go with him when he is dressed up but that is ok now because mom is always around during the day and she spoils me I have my daddy wrapped around my little paw and I know it, as soon as he gets home I show him how much I missed him and NO ONE gets any attention (except mom) before me.

I try to tell him all about my day but for the life of me I don’t think he understands anything I say. But, I’m sure he knows that most importantly I love him and mom too!

I think that is all I have to say for right now. But, this was fun telling you all about my life on the road and maybe dad will let me say hi from time to time. So till next time, safe travels and if you ever see me in a campground be sure to say hi!
