Check out this latest blog post from our friend, Levonne Gaddy at RVT.
My husband John and I recently returned to the U.S. Southwest with our 2002 Thor Wanderer Lite 21.5RL Fifth Wheel trailer. We spent most of our time in Arizona and were reminded just how great a state Arizona is for RV travel and exploration. We traveled in the spring so temperatures were still pleasant in the southern part of the state.
Horspitality RV Park, Wickenburg, Arizona
Our first stay at Horspitality RV Park in Wickenburg, was quite pleasant and was indeed a unique experience. Unique because it was the first RV park we’ve visited in our decades of camping that was created around the “horse” experience. Horse stables are on the property and many of the campers were there with their RV/horse trailer combination units.
We quickly discovered that you didn’t have to have a horse to enjoy the park. Beautiful mountain views, shady mulberry trees, a grassy enclosed dog park, a spotless modern Laundromat along with friendly staff made this stop exceedingly pleasant. The horse life was simply their most interesting and unique feature.
Horspitality RV park is a great location from which to explore one hundred year old small-town Wickenburg. From there you can easily explore Prescott or go into the cities in and around Phoenix. Horspitality gets and A from us.
