4 Uses for Shoe Organizers in Your RV
Most RVs include quite a few cabinets and other types of storage. However, they very rarely include enough of these types of things, especially for those of us who live in our RVs full-time. Fortunately, there are lots of clever storage ideas out there.

In our recent RV remodel, my family took advantage of several of these ideas, making our tiny home a much more organized and functional space. While searching for ideas that would work well in our space, we came across a number of awesome ideas that used shoe organizers.

Although we weren’t able to utilize all of these ideas, they will likely help other RVers who are looking to get their clutter under control. Therefore, I have compiled all of the best shoe organizer RV storage hacks into this handy list for you to pick and choose from.

  1. Toiletry Holder — Hanging shoe organizers with pockets are perfect for storing small items. Some of the best things to put into these pockets are toiletries. Hang one on your bathroom door, fill it with all of your bath and body products, and enjoy both easy-to-find toiletries and spill-free drives.
  2. Toy and Tool Organization — The TRONES shoe holders from IKEA are an amazing RV storage option. These tilt-open boxes are wall-mounted so they won't tip over. Additionally, they only stick out 6 or 8 inches from the wall, meaning they don’t take up much floor space. We love these for our toy and tool storage.
  3. Coffee Table Storage — Shoe storage benches make fabulous coffee tables with tons of built-in storage. Use your bench to store shoes, or get more creative and stock it with magazines, books, or even pots and pans. Another great option is to keep craft supplies under the bench for the kids to pull out and use on the makeshift table top.
  4. Hanging Herb Garden — If you're one of the many RVers who wishes they could tend a garden on the road, this might be just the solution for you. Plant a variety of herbs in small pots and place the pots into the pockets of a hanging shoe organizer. Hang the whole setup outside while you are parked, and hang it on a door inside during travel. Just be sure to secure the bottom of the organizer to the door with a hook, some Velcro, or snaps while traveling.
