About This Property

Aune Osborn Campground lies along 20 acres of waterfront property on the lower St. Mary's River. It is an excellent location to watch the lake freighters as they make their way to and from the Soo Locks. The western end of the campground houses 100 modern (water & electric) sites. The following amenities are open to the public: showers and restrooms, boat launch, fish cleaning station, RV dump station, and phones.

Aune Osborn Park, adjacent to the campground, is a popular location for fishing tournaments.

"Just Awesome River and Ship Traffic Views"

What a beautiful place to stay and watch the ship traffic go up and down the St Mary's River that flows between Lake Superior and Lake Heron. We will be back again to enjoy these views! Just a few minutes to town and all the other activities of the Soo Locks Area amenities and cruises. Just WOW!

"Always a great place to stay"

Cheerful attendants , Everything is always very clean and neat. Showers are spotless. Great view of the ships passing.

"Wonderful Campground!"

Even though we had some rain during our visit to this incredible campground, it was still a great trip! The staff was wonderful, always helpful and make the campground special. Very clean and friendly campground. What a treat it was to watch the huge freighters travel past us on their way back or to the Soo Locks. We will definitely be back! You can?t go wrong by camping here.
