Anchor Down is simply amazing! My kids love the pool and lake! Waterslides and "blob" are so much fun! Our fur kids loved the dog park and even learned some new tricks while we were there. Campground is very clean and well maintained! Can't wait to go back this summer!

Oct 15 , 2017"Incredible RV Resort on the quiet side of Douglas Lake"
We have known this resort since it opened in 2013. Each time, we look forward to returning to the cascading sites overlooking Douglas Lake and Mt. LeConte. God's beauty is emphasized from your site as you watch the sunrise in the morning or the last light of day in the evening. Each bathroom is an individualized suite with granite countertops and tile, toilet, sink and shower. This year, they built the best dog park we have ever seen using artificial turf and a unique drainage system. They added Pickelball too this year which we love to play but the real draw of this Resort are the owners and their passion for excellence. If a guy drives up in an Anchor Down golf cart to pick up your trash around 10am, and he has a large blonde dog named Sammy with him, you are meeting one of the owners, Chad Dixon. Super people, Chad and his wife Shannon. Their service is outstanding. This is a 10-10-10 park by Good Sam and well deserved. Off I-40 at ext 412, you need not get into the traffic in the busy Pigeon Forge market. Still, close enough to visit and play in Pigeon Forge, but make time to visit nearby little Dandridge too, Tennessee's 2nd oldest town. Anchor Down is a major economic impact for that area. Anchor Down is well worth a visit in your RV and soon.
